Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO1 Perform calculations and carry out measurements associated with hydraulic systems
LO2 Draw/construct hydraulic circuits using ISO 1219 symbols and become familiar with the symbols commonly and frequently used in hydraulic circuits
LO3 Describe the safety requirements associated with hydraulic systems on mobile plant machinery
LO4 Describe the function and operation of components used in hydraulic circuits such as pumps, motors, valves and actuators
LO5 Explain the costs, service and repair requirements of hydraulic systems on mobile plant machinery
