Module Description: |
This module introduces, through intensive directed study, the technical and musical requirements necessary for specialised instrumental performance. Students will engage in and perform chamber music with peers. Students will also develop quick learning skills and their ability to sight read.

Strong evidence of performing ability. Normally, a mark of at least 70% in Core Instrumental Studies 2 performance evaluation is required. |

An appropriate programme introducing performance orientated skills including fundamental mechanics in solo performance, freedom in playing and memorisation, practising with and without an instrument

Peer observation and learning in a chamber music workshop setting
