Module Description: In this module the learners can expect to develop an advanced understanding of digital print and traditional print process within the context of fine art.
 
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO1 Work independantly and safely with specialist printmaking equipment, facilities and materials.
LO2 Display confidence and act effectively with qualified printmakers and peer.
LO3 Develop and conceive ideas within a fixed time constraint in the printworkshop.
LO4 Plan a research programme and technical study on an individual print practice .
LO5 Experiment with a range of specialist and transferable skills appropriate to their chosen work or research.

Indicative Content
Research
Critical and contextual group discussions centred around a range of contemporary print practices.
Print Processes
Advanced Practical technical demonstrations and workshops exploring a range of processes. The learner will develop a range of creative, conceptual and technical skills.
Materials
Introduction to a range of materials for use in conjunction with scanners, large format printer, computers and workshop printing equipment, to facilitate development of creative process.
