On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

MOTOR & TRANSPORT INDUSTRY ENTERPRISE & ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Definition of entrepreneurship. Importance of small business and entrepreneurs within the Automotive & Transport Industries. Entrepreneurial traits. Reasons for success and failure.
INDUSTRY STANDARDS, EVOLUTION & CHANGE
The influence of industry standards within the Automotive and Transport industries. Factors influencing change within the Automotive sector. The nature and importance of organisational change. Planning and managing for organisational change and development.
RESEARCH & PLANNING
Industry research. Feasibility study and Business plan preparation for Automotive and Transport industry applications.
AUTOMOTIVE BUSINESS STRUCTURES & FINANCING
Identification of appropriate business structures and financing options for entrepreneurship within the Automotive and Transport industries.
TIME MANAGEMENT
Importance of time management. Planning, scheduling and prioritising of objectives. Analysis of time-wasting activities and identifying methods of maximising time utilisation within automotive sales and after-sales activities.
COMMUNICATIONS
The communication process. Channels and systems of communication within Motor and Transport industry organisations.
SALES MANAGEMENT
