Operations Planning
Plan the Work. Project management Critical Path and PERT, Business Plans, the MOS/MPS, CRP, MRP and ERP. Taking a 'Systems' approach. Demand forecasting and management. Align organisation to manage demand. Creating demand responsive supply chains. Scheduling Methods.
Operations Control
Work the Plan. Materials Control & JIT. Capacity Planning and Control. Matching capacity to customer orders with quick response logistics. Operations layouts for effectiveness and flexibility. Feedback mechanisms and tools. Role of KPI.s and CSF.s to optimise operations output. Health and safety controls.
