On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO3 Analyse the role of performance measurement in driving continuous improvement.

LO5 Describe how to design and implement balanced scorecard, benchmarking and KPI's tools for performance improvement.

Continuous Improvement
The philosophy of continuous improvement. Continuous Improvement Techniques. Benchmarking. Breakthrough change & Paradigm shifts, Kaikaku and Kaizen. Value Stream Mapping process to help identify areas of improvement within the supply chain.
Performance Measurement
Measurements that drive performance and productivity. Measure to manage. Performance measurements tools including Kaplan & Norton's Balanced scorecard. Critical Success Factors (CSF) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Management. Performance appraisel. Re-aligning the Supply chain.
