Module Description: This module describes computer-based Information Systems and explains the functionality offered by IT and its operational and strategic implications for management. It evaluates the use of technology databases and outlines the issues relating to the management of Information Systems and the impact of the Internet, the World Wide Web and e-Commerce.

On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
