Module Description: This module will cover an introduction to presentation software and databases in the labs and to Business Information Systems in the theory section. The practical element will cover such topics as the structure of a database, creating tables, primary keys, forms, queries and reports. The theory section will cover such topics as Information Systems in relation to Organisational Strategy and Competitive Advantage, computer networks, database management systems(DBMS)and Data Protection.
 
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
