Use some of the principles and practices of counselling skills to enhance their interpersonal communication and helping experience. |

Develop helping relationships that offer contactful, empathic attunement to the client |

Conduct an independent counselling interview with a peer |

Observe and manage their own personal process and its impact on the helping situation |
LO5 |
Keep a skills application journal to describe, reflect upon and analyse the experience of the use of counselling skills. |
LO6 |
Review their counselling and helping skills application experience and appraise their strengths and weaknesses in the helping setting. |
