Air Law
Conventions, agreements and organisations, aircraft nationality and registration marks, procedures for air navigation services.
Mechanics of Airframes, Engines, Electrics
System design, stresses, loads and maintenance, hydraulics, electrical flight controls, pneumatic systems.
Instruments/Electronics
Sensors and instruments, measurement of air data parameters, inertial navigation and reference systems.
Operational Procedures
Long range flight management, trans oceanic and polar flights, special operational procedures and hazards.

Assessment Description
Students will undertake the ATPL exams for Module 2. This assessment is an Multiple Choice Style exam drawn from an extensive (10000+) question bank and assesses the students theoretical knowledge of various concepts. In order to pass this module students will need to attain a minimum score of 75%.
