Module Description: This module will provide students with Information Technology skills which are required in many organisations. Learners will build on their knowledge gained in year one to acquire skills at this level. The practical element will cover such topics as If functions, Lookup functions and linking formula which are used to perform calculations in spreadsheets. The theory section will address such topics as using information systems for competitive advantage, decision making and collaboration.

Learning through practice with practical assignments. Spreadsheet formulas, spreadsheet functions, simple, nested and compound If functions. Vertical & horizontal lookup, charts, sorting data, macros and spreadsheet protection.
