Module Description: This module develops and extends the application of measurement rules and techniques to encompass a range of commercial buildings.
 
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO1 Utilise quantity surveying measurement software to quantify a range of building elements including a variety of piled foundations, pile caps and associated ground beams
LO2 Prepare and present the measurement of suspended floor structures for inclusion in a Bill of Quantities
LO3 Utilise the Agreed Rules of measurement to ensure consistency in the measurement of stairs and ramps
LO4 Identify omissions in the available project information and outline the procedures used to obtain the data necessary to measure a variety of flat roof structures and finishes
