Module Description: Students in this module identify and work in their chosen/allocated clinical placement establishing their Art Therapy practice within the context of the placement multidisciplinary team
 
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO1 Lead, manage and identify appropriate treatment programs, taking responsibility for caseload management for individual and/or group work
LO2 Interact professionally within the multidisciplinary team, effectively communicating their practice and clinical interventions
LO3 Reflect and identify learning on the client/ therapist process through the use of the supervision and clinical self reflection
LO4 Present an advanced capacity to work with transferential and unconscious client/therapist processes
LO5 Critically reflect and analyze clinical work within unpredictable and uncertain situations working within the ethical code of conduct set out by IACAT

Placement
Students attend a clinical placement developing their clinical caseload and applying intervention skills with a variety of clinical situations and needs
Supervision group
Students attend a peer clinical supervision session using the session to reflect upon their own and their peers' clinical interventions.
