Module Description: This module continues to support the student's learning and involvement in their clinical placements particularly looking at issues of evaluation and clinical effectiveness, report and assessment writing as well as reflecting on practice in selected areas.
 
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

LO2 Critically explore and identify current and specific theory and link this knowledge to their practice with reference to practice in Ireland
LO3 Identify and present a concise understanding of the role of supervision within practice with the use of a creative approach
LO4 Reflect on and identify a concise understanding of the relationship of Art(s) Therapy to the Psychological Therapies
LO5 Consider the ethical implications of their practice and adhere to IACAT's code of ethics

Art Therapy Practice
Continued introduction to clinical application of Art Therapy within a range of clinical situations and evaluation tools. Relationship of Art Therapy with other psychological therapies
Professional Practice Issues
Current professional debates and movements. Role of supervision and its relationship to practice when using a creative approach. Issues of Continuing Professional Development and identifying individual needs in terms of training issues.
