Module Description: This module will enable students to formulate and identify strategies to secure work placement in semester 06. Students will be required to create a bespoke piece of media with their potential employer in mind as the client.

On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

Projects will vary based on the client and the students area(s) of interest. See below for some sample projects.
Non-creative sector
The student could offer to provide a full range of digital media services that would boost the public profile of a company or not for profit organisation. As well as updating content they could also create original content for internal and external branding and social media usage (poster design, digital photography, cinematography, video editing, designing and revamping existing websites).
Creative Sector
Taking a design company's existing static content and adding a new dimension to it by creating animations and motion graphics videos from the original assets.

Assessment Description
A document must be drawn up which highlights five companies which the student has researched and would ideally like to work for. As well as including a motivational statement regarding their interest in the company they should also describe a tailor made media product they would design for each of the five company's.
