Module Description: This module is an introduction to the primary concepts of Dairy and Beef Production. It will give a grounding to students wishing to pursue a career in agri-business and farm management.

On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

Feedstuff evaluation,balancing diets,nutritional demands and requirements,least cost diet formulation, grass.

GAO's, Numbers involved, Milk composition, quality and payment structure.Beef conformation and fat score. Market requirements.
