This module will facilitate the further development of the students as advanced psychotherapy practitioners. They will recieve advanced facilitation to review their clinical practise and thereby identify their strengths and areas for development.

LO1 |
Compile a problem formulation/case conceptualisation in the course of the assessment process and use this as a basis for conceptualising a treatment direction; to update initial assessment hypotheses regularly in response to the emergence of new material. |
LO2 |
Show an advanced ability for empathic interpersonal engagement; a sensitivity to attunement and mis-attunement and the ability to manage rupture and repair in the therapeutic alliance. |
LO3 |
Identify and engage appropriately with unconscious process, transference countertansference and projective identification as they arise in
the work |
LO4 |
Show the ability for self-reflection and for identifying and using appropriate professional support for the ongoing development of thinking and practice. |
LO5 |
Liaise appropriately with other professionals both within and outside the clinical field. |
LO6 |
Show an advanced appreciation of the ethical and professional practice issues that arise in the work giving due regard to the clinical and organisational context. |
