Module Description: |
This module reviews the process of supervision in the community workplace and the roles of the supervisor and supervisee in that context. It facilitates the differentiation of the roles of supervisor, mentor, tutor, coach and trainer, and helps interpret these in relation to community-based project work.

Critically differentiate the roles of supervisor, mentor, tutor, coach and trainer. |
LO2 |
Critique the role of supervisor with particular reference to the supervision of community-based project work. |

Reflect and report on the process of supervision in relation to their own practice in placement. |
LO4 |
Evaluate their own performance as supervisee within their own placement. |
LO5 |
Evaluate the goals and objectives of the host organisation and critically locate their own practice within these. |
