Module Description: Students in this module continue their exploration of approaches and techniques and also develop these through peer facilitation exercises. Students continue exploring their own personal art process with an end of semester peer review. Experience and understanding of the relationship of Art Therapy to the other Arts Therapies is given with introductory workshops into Music, Drama and Dance Therapy

Indicative Content
Group facilitation skills
Students with their peer group initiate and run experiential exercises which are then peer reviewed. Students also undertake role play/video exercises to explore and review their interactions as therapists identifying strengths and needs in their developing practice.
Art Therapy Workshops
Through the visiting lecturing program students experience client centred techniques and approaches specifically orientated to a variety of client groups. Skills are developed in analysing and evaluating approaches used with an emphasis on client centred methods of evaluation. Themes such as working with endings and loss are explored and examined. Students also have an experiential experience of the other Creative Art Therapies.
Studio Practice
Students continue their exploration of their own art process reveiwed within the end of semester studio review. Students continue to explore techniques and uses of other mediums.
Therapeutic/ clinical themes
Students explore issues of difference within the therapeutic environment from their own identity to that of the diversity of client identities e.g cultural/ sexual/ religious
