Module Description: The aim of this module is to provide students with an interactive platform to test assumptions and learn from mistakes so they are better prepared to step confidently into their business career. Through this module, students get the chance to apply what they've learned across all disciplines of business in a strategic, competitive, engaging learning experience.

On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:

Indicative Content
Business Environment Simulation model
In the business environment simulation module the student manages an on-going business. Working with their teammates, they are in direct competition with other firms in their industry. Their goal is to improve the firm's overall financial, operating and market performance. The simulation/programme runs over a period of 10 weeks. The participants have to work together in teams in a simulation that links all teams together in a competitive and dynamic environment. The teams are completing one 2-hour round per week; they have to find ways of working effectively together and making smart decisions that will improve the strength and results of their team.

This will comprise of a presentation in week 5, it will be based on what the student's experience has been in relation to implementing a business plan thus far in the business simulation.
