This module incorporates the subject matter required for Naval Officers to develop the knowledge required to evaluate and analyse the responsibilities and abilities of the Naval Service, in the modern context of National and international Ocean Governance, in a complex , modern maritime environment.

Review and analyse the history and development of the management of marine resources and evaluate the current situation in a national, European and global contexts. |

Identify key elements in ocean governance from a national policy and practice perspective and critically review these in the European and global contexts. |

Analyse and review the role of the Naval Service in relation to ocean governance policy and practice. |
