Further development of skills learnt in 'Digital Music Production' using industry standard software environments, apps, and plugins with a focus on adapting content for live performance.
Hardware skills
Investigation and configuration of a variety of audio modules and midi-enabled hardware with a focus on their application in live performance.
Live Electronic Music Performance
Integration and synthesis of core skills to present a fully electronic live music performance.
Performance conceptualisation & implementation
Developing a concept through to realising a live performance implementing all the technical and creative pre-production requirements.
Pre-Production Planning
Devising technical riders and stage plans as well as preparing audio and MIDI parts for live performance.

Assessment Description
Discuss & display the first draft of artistic conceptualisation, audio material and technical implementation relating to the 15 minute live performance due at the end of semester. A clear concept/vision must be presented including an outline of the instruments (hardware & software) that will be used. 5 minutes of material should be presented. Feedback will be provided after this presentation.

It is expected that the final five minutes of additional material will be displayed at this assessment along with any adjustments to previous material. Feedback will be provided after this presentation.

Assessment Description
Submission of DRAFT DAW files and technical rider (including stage plan & channel list) that will be used for the end of semester live performance. This should include return tracks for in-ear monitoring.

Assessment Description
Live performance and submission of the candidates composition using a suitable DAW, which must include both prepared audio material & live elements as well as incorporating electronic hardware and software.
