Module Description: This module integrates critical theory and practice of Group Process and Dynamics, negotiation and participation models. It covers stages of group development, roles, tasks and teamwork and their application to group process and professional practice.

Introduction to the theory, principles and practice of group process and dynamics. Stages of group formation and how they apply to the group process. Negotiation, facilitation and participation models.
Structure
Roles, norms and relating in groups.
Leadership
Influence, power and styles.
Group Cohesiveness
Cohesiveness, groupthink and teamwork.
Affect
Realms of the language of emotion. How are they expressed, navigated and regulated.
Experiential Learning
Experiential Learning through the group process and reflection on active participation in group experience.
