PO1 Knowledge - Breadth • An extensive knowledge of the business environment in which early education is developed and delivered; • A knowledge and understanding of the management of human, physical, financial and other resources required for the delivery of programmes in ECEC; • A knowledge and understanding of theories and associated research methods and ethical considerations for the development of standards, practice and children’s’ rights in ECEC; • A knowledge and understanding of a variety of pedagogical theories and models of practice relating to ECEC;
PO2 Knowledge - Kind • Knowledge of current business practice, management theory and good practice in the design, development, management and evaluation of programmes for ECEC; • Detailed knowledge of practice in relation to management, advocacy, leadership and inclusion;
PO3 Skill - Range • Effective research skills to conduct research in the field of ECEC; • Planning, practice and management skills for the design and delivery of an ECEC curriculum;
